Our open mic welcomes everyone
from solo artists, singer/songwriters to full bands.
Typically, we have a bunch of musicians who never
played together form an impromptu band and launch
into whatever someone has on their mind. One person
knows the lyrics, someone else knows a few of the
chords and what happens is sometimes magic...
The full band setup almost insures
that everyone will have a chance to play and with
a few talented open mic regulars on drums, bass, etc.,
solo musicians can play with pro backup if they want.
Stop in at the Side Door 33 Colfax Ave. in Pompton
Lakes on Wednesdays or Big Johns Pub, 49 Old Route
23 in Newfoundland, NJ on Thursday nites to make new
friends and meet local musicians. The fun starts at
9 pm!
